New HGS Members 2026

Andy Arthur

Andy came to our recent October 2025 trip to the Macdonald Portal as a guest, kindly filling in for a late withdrawal. He fitted in well during the trip and obviously enjoyed the event, as he has asked to join HGS. He is a member at Easingwold Golf Club, so knows several of our HGS members. His current handicap index is 12.5.

Mark Stokes

Mark was introduced to HGS by John Gill and Mike Thompson a couple of years ago now, but has had limited opportunity to come along as a guest to our events due to his work commitments. However, he has now decided to join HGS as a member, and celebrated in style by winning the Christmas Social event at Sandburn Hall in December 2025. Mark is a member at Fulford Golf Club and his current handicap index is 9.9.
