Cleckheaton Golf Day - Friday 24th April 2026

 

Format, Costs & Timings

This is the round 1 match of our 2026 programme. The Organiser for this event is to be confirmed nearer the date (volunteers are welcome).

It is an individual Stableford competition, played off 95% of calculated Course Handicaps. Members' latest HGS Handicap Adjustments are applied for this event.

The charge for the day is £55, which includes:

  •  coffee & bacon rolls on arrival

  • 18 holes of golf

  • a 1-course meal afterwards

  •  prizes, and a £1 tip for the catering staff.

Please pay HGS by funds transfer in advance (or contact Maurice Jones).

Please reply to the Organiser by <date to be announced> to confirm whether or not you will be playing.

The first Tee Time is at 10.36am, so please aim to arrive at the clubhouse around 9.30am.

If you want to hire a buggy, please contact the Pro-Shop directly (please note that one buggy is usually reserved for HGS). Dress code in the clubhouse for the meal is smart-casual or clean golf gear.
