Format, Costs & Timings

This is the round 3 match of our 2026 programme. The Organiser for this event is to be confirmed nearer the date (volunteers are welcome).

It is an individual Stableford competition, played off 95% of calculated Course Handicaps. Members' latest HGS Handicap Adjustments are applied for this event.

The charge for the day is £55, which includes:

  •  coffee & bacon rolls on arrival

  • 18 holes of golf

  • a 1-course carvery meal afterwards

  •  prizes, and a £1 tip for the catering staff.

Please pay HGS by funds transfer in advance (or contact Maurice Jones).

Please reply to Mark Wray by Wednesday 29th July to confirm whether or not you will be playing.

The first Tee Time is at 10.30am, so please aim to arrive at the clubhouse around 9.30am.

If you want to hire a buggy, please contact the Pro-Shop directly on 01429 836510 (please note that one buggy is usually reserved for HGS). Dress code in the clubhouse for the meal is smart-casual or clean golf gear.
