Competition Rules:

  1. Members must have entered for the competition before the draw in March 2025.
  2. The first member of each pair has the choice of venue. The Final should be played at a mutually-agreed ‘neutral’ venue.
  3. Any costs (ie green fees) should be shared between the players.
  4. The format is 18 hole matchplay, using the difference between the Course Handicaps calculated from current Handicap Indexes.
  5. Both members are responsible for arranging the game by the stated deadline for the round. If the game is not played by the stated date, a two-week extension to the deadline for a particular round is usually granted by the President and Competition Organiser. Further extensions will only be made in exceptional circumstances. If the game cannot be played, pairings should agree a mutually-acceptable winner, otherwise a winner will be decided by an independent coin toss.
  6. Please email results asap to the Competition Organiser (Peter Bollands) for recording on the website to inform other members.
